Job summary

Marelli Pulaski is seeking a Tool Maker to join the team, reporting to the Tool Room Supervisor. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing injections molds at the Pulaski TN office.

The candidate will work with conventional machining, welding (TIG/MIG/laser), mold/press interactions, and preventive maintenance, including experience with external mold shops and fixtures fabrication. Strong understanding of metal assembly is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with conventional machining including lathe, milling, drilling and tapping.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or related design software.
• 5+ years mold repairs and mold design/fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair injection molds.
• Work with mold presses and process interactions.
• Experience with external mold shops and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hot runners, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical diagrams.
• Handle mold spotting, venting, and threading tasks.
• Develop fixtures using metal, aluminum and Delrin.
