Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Toolmaker I for the 2nd shift in Savannah to lay out and construct tooling from engineering drawings and sketches. You will set up tooling, perform material calculations, and use precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a machine shop, and a valid driver’s license. Safety and quality are emphasized in daily operations.
High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year machine shop experience and/or machine shop training at a Vocational Technical School. Valid Driver’s License required.
Conventional machining experience.
High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year machine shop experience and/or machine shop training at a Vocational Technical School. Valid Driver’s License required.
Under close supervision, lay out and construct tools from Tool Design, Engineering drawings and/or hand sketches to meet scheduled deadlines and quality standards.
