Job summary

You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling meets exact specifications and quality standards. The role requires apprenticeship completion or equivalent experience, plus hands-on CNC and manual machining skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited toolmaking apprenticeship or equivalent experience in precision toolmaking.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to produce high-quality tooling components.
• Perform detailed inspections and measurements to verify tooling accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to identify tooling issues and implement effective solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tooling maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure traceability and compliance with company standards.
