Job summary

iLocatum is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to build, maintain, and repair aluminum molds, tools, and dies for a precision manufacturing team in Idaho. You’ll review blueprints, set up and run CNC and manual machines, and perform quality checks to ensure tooling meets specs and production schedules.

Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with engineers and production staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in machining operations including milling, drilling, grinding, and lathing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
• Maintain, repair, and modify molds, tools, and dies to production specs.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair molds, tools, and dies.
• Review blueprints and set up/operate machinery.
• Perform quality checks to ensure tooling meets specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet deadlines.
