Job summary

Clarios in Florence, Kentucky is seeking a Toolmaker to repair and maintain complex molds in the tool room, using mills, lathes, grinders, welding equipment, and precision measuring tools to keep tooling production-ready.

This night-shift role runs 6:45 PM–7:15 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule, with overtime and weekend work as needed; candidates must pass mechanical and electrical aptitude assessments and demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Shift

Enjoy a predictable 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts - working only about half the month (15 days), with every other weekend off. This is a night shift role (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM). Additional hours, including some weekends and overtime, may be needed to support production demands.

What You’ll Do

• This position supports injection molding operations and focuses heavily on repairing and maintaining complex molds. Toolmakers work independently in the tool room using mills, lathes, grinders, welding equipment, and precision measuring tools to keep molds production-ready.
• All candidates will complete a mechanical and electrical aptitude assessment as part of the process.
