Job summary

Cosma International in Iowa seeks skilled manufacturing personnel to support tool and die operations. You will understand how tasks affect quality and customer satisfaction, work with teams, read reports, present information, and operate TIG/MIG welders, lathes, and mills.

Applicants should lift up to 75 pounds, read blueprints, and adapt to three shifts with overtime. A high school diploma or GED and SPC training are required; journeyperson status or an associate degree is preferred.

Education and Experience

Work Environment
  • The work environment is primarily manufacturing plant and is characterized by temperature extremes, loud noise and considerable tow motor traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
  • Job responsibilities include heavy lifting (75 pounds) and working in confined spaces
  • Personal precision and hand tools required
  • Overtime as required. Normal work week will include weekends.
