Job Responsibilities

Communication Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Manufacturing Environment:
• 80% Standing, and walking
• 20% Stooping, Kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing
• Must be able to lift heavy loads (50 lbs)

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 Year apprentice trade certificate in Tool making
• Must be able to read blueprints and preferred CAD experience.
