Job summary

Magna International, Cosma International division, seeks skilled machinists to support body, chassis and engineering solutions. The role emphasizes reading and interpreting technical diagrams, precise measurements, and safe operation of machining equipment in a general factory setting.

Job Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience:
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Post high school tooling/machining program preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer operations
  • Must exhibit high integrity and honesty
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements and business correspondences
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Knowledge of safe and proficient use of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and saws
  • Must be proficient in bench Repair, Assembly, Machinery Up-Keep, Layout, Die Repair, Inspection, Press Troubleshooting, Tooling Design, Quality Control, Die and/or Fixture Building, Welding and Heat Treating
