Job summary

AS Talent Advisors is seeking a Toolmaker for a precision manufacturing facility in Michigan. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team, design and build tooling, and contribute to continuous improvement on the production floor.

You will train operators, perform inspections, and help drive quality while maintaining a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art environment with modern CNC equipment. A strong tooling background and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tooling, setups, and production processes for CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of machining theory, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Team-oriented with strong communication.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, repair, and improve tooling and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot tooling, fixture, and production issues.
• Create sample parts and assist with engineering projects.
