Ōnin Staffing is seeking an experienced Tool Maker to build, repair, maintain, and modify tooling, dies, fixtures, jigs, and molds used in manufacturing operations. The role focuses on applying strong machining skills and attention to detail, working from technical drawings to support production and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in tool making or precision machining, can read blueprints, work to close tolerances, and use precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Technical or Trade School certification preferred.
• 3+ years of Tool Maker, Tool & Die Maker, or Precision Machinist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with close tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
