Job summary

Westfall Technik, Inc. in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Tooling Technician to support the injection-molding tooling lifecycle, including setup and repair. You will work closely with production and engineering to ensure tool readiness and performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with tooling systems and precision measurement tools; CAD/CAM software and tooling management familiarity are essential. This is a full-time on-site position in Asheboro, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certification in Tooling, Machining, Manufacturing Technology preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Tooling Technician, Mold Technician, or similar in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in injection molding or related tooling systems.
• Experience with mold repair, preventive maintenance, and tooling setup.

Responsibilities

• Report tool status and issues to production and engineering teams.
• Explain tooling changes and setups in team meetings and document reviews.
• Support tooling reviews, audits, and wear data analysis to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with machinists and maintenance personnel in tooling activities.
