Westlake Pipe & Fittings, a Westlake division, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to manage die changes and line changeovers in a busy extrusion environment. Responsibilities include setting up downstream equipment for size changes, purging machines, wiring heads, training team members, and maintaining tooling inventories while supporting a safe, productive plant atmosphere.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position has a transitioning work environment. Office/computer, manufacturing plant and outdoor environments are normal. The noise level in the plant environment is usually high, as normal for a manufacturing plant. Some of the work in the operating units may require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, fall protection, hard hats, etc.
