Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Tooling Associate for the B shift in Mineral Wells, West Virginia. You will perform changeovers, install and maintain molds and tooling, set up equipment for first-run parts that meet quality standards, and document maintenance in CMMS. This role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience and a mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience; plastics or thermoforming preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and tooling.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to read and operate machine control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers on thermoforming and related production equipment.
• Install, remove, and maintain molds and tooling for changeovers.
• Set up equipment and ensure first-run parts meet quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and monitor OEE.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Support with production and packing duties as needed.
