Job summary

PeopleShare- King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Tooling Technician to maintain, organize, inspect, and prepare tooling that keeps production moving smoothly. You’ll handle dies/rods and learn precision measurement while supporting manufacturing operations and developing technical skills.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with no nights or weekends, full-time training, and opportunities to advance in tooling and manufacturing within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, machine shop, production, or tooling experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform hands-on work.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and maintaining die cages and rod storage areas.
• Locating, staging, issuing, and returning tooling for production jobs.
• Inspecting dies, rods, plugs, and tooling for wear, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Using hand tools and manual equipment to clean, straighten, adjust, and perform minor repairs.
• Learning how to accurately measure tooling using a micrometer and other precision instruments.
• Supporting production teams by ensuring tooling is ready when needed.
• Identifying damaged or out-of-spec tooling and communicating concerns promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records and tooling identification systems.
• Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
