Job summary

Paycom"s Harrisburg facility is seeking six skilled Tool and Die Makers to support EDM and grinding operations, die and mold tooling maintenance, and qualification. First, second, and third shifts may be available; all openings are full-time.

Qualified candidates typically have 5–7 years of tool and die experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and may hold Journeyman credentials. A strong background in toolroom machining and CAD/NC capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in tool and die building, mold development, or precision machining.
• High School Diploma or GED required; CAD/NC programming capability is a strong plus.
• Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker or Journeyman Machinist preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tooling Build & Maintenance: build, develop, qualify, and repair production die and mold tooling.
• Specialized Machining: set up and operate toolroom machinery, EDM and precision grinding.
• Component Fabrication: manufacture replacement die components and mold tooling to exact specs.
• Preventative Maintenance: maintain and service shop equipment for seamless production.
• Blueprint Reading: interpret drawings and CAD files for precise setups.

We are looking for 6 skilled Tool and Die Makers to support our production facility, specifically within our EDM and grinding operations, as well as general die and mold tooling qualification and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Tooling Build & Maintenance: Build, develop, qualify, and repair production die and mold tooling.

• Component Fabrication: Manufacture replacement die components and mold tooling to exact engineering specifications.
• Preventative Maintenance: Maintain and service shop equipment to ensure seamless production operations.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret product drawings, CAD files, and tool drawings to perform precise setups and machining.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in tool and die building, mold development, or precision machining.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Technical school degree, vocational training, or CAD/NC programming capability is a strong plus.
• Certifications: Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker or Journeyman Machinist credential preferred (not required).
• Technical Skills: High proficiency with toolroom machinery, surface grinders, EDM setups, heat treating, and product prototyping.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a toolroom/production environment.
