Job summary

IntePros is seeking a Tooling Supervisor for a Medical Device/Manufacturing client in Williamsport, PA. The role leads hourly tooling personnel, ensures minimal downtime, and maintains safe, efficient production.

Responsibilities include supervising tool room activities and the repair/maintenance of molds and dies, developing cost estimates, training apprentices, and coordinating with maintenance and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in tooling.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding, mold design, and mold/die operations.
• Familiarity with SAP, Master Control or similar systems, and Minitab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Relentless commitment to safety and quality.
• Supervise tool room activities related to repair/maintenance of tools; fabricate new components and develop items.
• Maintain traceability of tooling assets within SAP.
• Assure efficient departmental scheduling and use of personnel/equipment.
• Train new tool room personnel during orientation period.
• Prepare cost estimates for die, mold and damaged equipment repairs and delivery.
• Develop and maintain an effective organization to meet short/long-range requirements.
• Exercise control of the department budget and expenses.
• Evaluate personnel and submit reports; recommend actions as needed.
• Safeguard samples, confidential information, and personnel records.
• Promote a safe work environment and compliance with client safety programs.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment per client 5S program.
• Travel up to 5% per year.
