Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tooling Supervisor to lead and coordinate multi-shift tooling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for meeting production schedules, financial goals, quality standards, and delivery expectations while building a strong, technically skilled tooling team.

Responsibilities
- Plan, communicate, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly tooling production schedules
- Direct and support multi‑shift tooling operations to meet throughput, quality, and delivery expectations
- Coordinate outsourced tooling and die build services, ensuring quality and on‑time completion
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotes for in‑house die builds
- Oversee die maintenance and sampling activities to ensure optimal tool performance and minimal downtime
- Perform in‑house die builds as needed to support scheduling demands
- Identify training needs and develop tooling team skills to improve efficiency and technical depth
- Establish and communicate clear job expectations using documented standards
- Lead, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable to performance goals and company policies
- Conduct and document annual performance reviews for direct reports
- Support and lead scrap reduction and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing OR
Associate degree in Machine Tooling or Tool & Die
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Tool, Mold, or Die shop
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and carry tools/materials during an 8–10 hour shift
- Ability to support a 24‑hour / 5‑day per week manufacturing operation
- Regular, predictable attendance is required
