Qualifications

• Hands-on plastic injection molding experience required.
• Experience setting up, adjusting, and monitoring injection molding machines.
• Strong troubleshooting of molding processes, machines, and defects.
• Knowledge of process parameters and production controls.
• Experience with quality inspection and production documentation.
• Ability to follow work instructions and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and adjust injection molding machines for production.
• Perform machine and mold changeovers and verify proper setup.
• Monitor process parameters, machine operation, cycle times, and production output.
• Troubleshoot molding machines, tooling, materials, and process issues.
• Identify and correct molding defects and process variations.
• Inspect molded parts to verify quality and dimensional requirements.
• Document process settings, production data, quality issues, and adjustments.
• Perform routine equipment and process checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Work with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
• Support machine operators with process-related questions and hands‑on guidance.
• Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and production procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving cycle times, and increasing production efficiency.
