Job summary

IAC Group in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Tooling Supervisor to lead our 1st shift Tool Room operations. You will oversee toolmakers and technicians, drive maintenance scheduling, and ensure tooling compliance with quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate mold changes, tool launches, and engineering revisions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years in mold making, tooling maintenance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a Tool Room or Manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting high-volume automotive manufacturing operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of injection molds, tooling systems, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Tool Room activities and staff.
• Prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance, and tooling changes.
• Maintain molds, fixtures, gauges and tooling to support production.
• Monitor tooling performance and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead mold repairs, maintenance programs and emergency tooling support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing on improvements.
