Job summary

Adient plc in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Tooling Supervisor to oversee Tool and Die Makers and Trainees, coordinate tooling activities, and help train trainees. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on tooling knowledge in a metals plant.

You will drive tool design input for reliability, quality and safety, manage tooling personnel, liaise with vendors, and ensure tooling projects meet schedule and production goals. Familiarity with BOS/ISO/industry standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising skilled trades.
• Experience training employees in the tool and die trade.
• Pervious experience working as a tool and die maker in a metals plant.
• Experience in progressive and transfer dies.
• Solid leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tooling issues communication and prioritization to maximize productivity.
• Manage tooling personnel in all tooling activities.
• Participate in tool design to improve reliability, quality and safety.
