Job summary

Autokiniton Global Group in Belleville, MI is seeking a Tool Room Technician to support the Belleville Plant 2. You will lead die maintenance, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure accurate machining and inspection using precision tools. This full-time hourly role reports to the Tool Room Supervisor.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and Journeyman Toolmaker Card or 6 years' experience. Expect a collaborative, safety-focused environment with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman Toolmaker Card or 6 years of experience.
• Experience with die maintenance, rebuilding die sections, and engineering changes.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and models to determine materials and machines.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign workload for team.
• Directs training of workers to improve department performance.
• Maintain and upgrade fixtures and gauges.
• Study specifications to determine materials and machines required.
• Perform extensive die maintenance and engineering changes.
• Make repair decisions and inspect using precision measuring tools.
