The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Tooling Specialist / Tooling Engineer for a precision manufacturing operation in Wisconsin. The role combines hands-on tooling knowledge with machining applications to optimize tool selection, tool life and productivity across multiple jobs.
You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and tooling suppliers to determine tooling specifications, evaluate new tools, and support tooling service, repair and cost analysis.

This isn't simply a tool-crib position. The opportunity combines hands-on tooling knowledge, machining, supplier interaction, cost analysis and continuous improvement. You'll work with manufacturing, engineering and tooling suppliers to determine what tools should be used, how they perform and where better tooling can improve productivity, tool life or cost.

Experience with cutting tools used in CNC machining, multi-spindle/screw machines, manual machining or other precision metalworking environments is particularly valuable. A machining or engineering education is helpful, but practical tooling knowledge and experience matter.
