Job summary

Precinmac is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant at the Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon. This on-site role focuses on standardizing tooling set-ups, ensuring tools are ready for jobs, and reducing machinist downtime.

You will organize tooling, maintain Min/Max levels via the tool index, assist supervisors, and help create practical work instructions. We offer a competitive total compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; preferred machine tool tech or related education.
• Basic computer skills and experience with data collection/ERP systems.
• Ability to read setup sheets and travelers; strong Interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Tooling Set Up: prepare tooling in holders per setup sheets and gather fixtures.
• Organize tooling and staging to minimize machinist downtime and prioritize jobs.
• Communicate low tooling inventory to supervisors and manage requests.
• Verify product quality and provide feedback for setup improvements.
• Assist in creating work instructions during downtime as directed.
