Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Tooling & Production Support Technician to maintain, repair, modify and prepare production tooling while providing hands-on troubleshooting for manufacturing operations.

You will inspect tooling, support machine setup, perform manual machining and welding, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Maintenance to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing, Tool Room, machining, tooling, fabrication, or similar industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of tooling and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, modify, and prepare production tooling, fixtures, and related components.
• Troubleshoot tooling and production equipment issues and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support machine setup, tooling adjustments, and production start-ups.
• Perform manual machining such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, and other Tool Room work.
• Perform welding and fabrication for tooling repairs and modifications.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve tooling-related issues.
