Hydro is seeking a manufacturing associate to support tooling and press operations in our Portland, Oregon area facility. The role involves pulling and managing tooling for press schedules, cleaning and moving tooling, and assisting in die shop activities to maintain production flow.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience with aluminum extrusion or tooling is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and precision tooling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules.

Responsabilités

• Pull tooling for press schedules and supply to correct location.
• Remove used tooling from presses and separate for caustic/storage.
• Load used tooling into boil-out tanks and rinse/dry as needed.
• Blast dies from caustic cleaning and transport to die repair shop.
• Manipulate and control steel (50–75 lbs) with pulling/pushing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
