Job summary

Precinmac in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to standardize tooling setups, reduce downtime, and keep tooling ready for machinists. This on‑site role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets technical data, setup sheets and travelers.
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills required.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Attention to detail; verify quality before routing.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; standing and walking majority of the day.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling into holders per setup sheet and stage fixtures and materials.
• Organize tooling and fixturing with the tool monger system; prioritize staging areas.
• Monitor tooling inventory; submit purchase requests and coordinate with purchasing.
• Obtain feedback from machinists and report to supervisors when setup info is incorrect.
• Contribute to work instruction creation during downtime.
• Suggest efficiency improvements and implement with supervisor approval.
• Maintain high standards and accountability in all tasks.
