Job summary

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC (dba QUES) is seeking a Tooling/Shop Lead to coordinate tooling, shop runners, and related shop support activities, ensuring inventory, maintenance, and distribution for field operations. This hands‑on leadership role works closely with the Shop/Fleet Manager, field supervision, mechanics, and project teams.

You will drive safety, maintain records, manage costs, and lead shop runners to uphold organization and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utility, fleet or shop operations.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain audited inventory of tooling and tag/track items; identify missing or damaged items.
• Direct daily shop runner activities and manage tooling transfers.
• Coordinate tooling movement with Shop/Fleet Manager and field teams.
• Ensure tooling safety and compliance with manufacturer guidelines; support inspections.
• Maintain tooling records and monitor costs to reduce unnecessary purchases.
