Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for the SEWS Components Division – Tooling Mold Maintenance. The role involves assembling/disassembling molds, performing overhauls, and ensuring tooling quality per instructions and drawings.
The candidate should have a two-year degree in Machine Tool Technology or Maintenance and 1–3 years of mold maintenance experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work at a fast pace. OSHA safety standards apply.

Position will assemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints; perform overhauls (preventative maintenance); parts fitting, shape mold components in accordance with training guidelines and understand parts mating position and function. Measure dimensions using appropriate measuring devices. Perform troubleshooting and utilize surface grinders, hand tools and or welding equipment.
Two-year Machine Tool Technology degree/Maintenance degree, 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance. Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components and be able to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying; must possess excellent oral & written communications skills. Must be willing to learn and be able to work at a fast pace.
