Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Tooling Mechanic Quality Inspector to support the Tooling & Emergent Operations Quality Team. Inspectors will verify tooling conformance to drawings, specs and quality standards and document non-conformances.
The role uses 3D measurement systems (Laser Trackers, Romer Arms, CMM), performs first article and production inspections, and collaborates with engineering and fabrication teams.
Tooling Mechanic - Quality
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Mechanic Quality Inspector to support the Tooling & Emergent Operations Quality Team in Berkeley, MO!
Inspectors in this position perform inspections of fabricated special tools and periodic inspection of tooling used for product acceptance. They use verify conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, manufacturing plans workmanship, and document any non-conformance. Inspectors will perform audit/surveillance of all processes as required and may provide instruction and OJT for other employees.
