Job summary

Cenveo is seeking a Tooling Coordinator for our Chicago, IL facility on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on organizing parts for changeovers, maintaining accurate tooling inventory, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth production transitions.

The candidate should have 3-5 years in tooling, packaging, or printing environments, with strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in tool inspection, make-ready, purchasing, customer service, and inventory in a print/production environment.
• Solid attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a high-volume work environment with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the staging of job jackets, raw materials, and print plates.
• Maintain inventory and order change parts; ensure parts are readily available for changeovers.
• Develop/Utilize Make Ready SOPs; maintain tooling condition and coordinate reconditioning.
