Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Support Coordinator to drive research, design, and testing of shop equipment and tooling at the Technology & Education Center in Reading, PA. You will collaborate with Maintenance & Design teams to improve preventive maintenance and repair processes across Penske service locations.

You will partner with tool manufacturers, provide testing feedback, and help develop new tools and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent work experience.
3 years in a Fleet Maintenance position.
1 year of Mechanical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
Excellent organization, customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications (Outlook, Teams, Smartsheet, Salesforce).
Willingness to travel 10% and pass background and drug screening.
Regular, predictable, full-time attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and performs research, design, and testing of Shop Equipment & Tooling.
Monitors and assists with development of Maintenance repair policies and procedures.
Works with suppliers to identify new maintenance practices and repair procedures.
Assists in projects to develop repair procedures promoting safety, productivity and proficiency.
Assists with training of tool functionality and maintenance with other teams.
