Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing, headquartered in Reading, PA, seeks a Maintenance Support Coordinator for the Tooling & Service Bay Technology team. You will research, design, and evaluate shop equipment, supporting maintenance and repair processes to boost safety and productivity for technicians and service staff.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability and Training teams, interact with tool manufacturers, and drive continuous improvement across Penske locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Automotive / Heavy Duty Technology, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, Analytics and/or Project Management; if no degree, equivalent work experience.
• 3 years in a Fleet Maintenance position; light, medium, and heavy-duty mechanical background preferred.
• 1 year of Mechanical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
• Excellent organization, customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications (Outlook, Teams, Smartsheet, Salesforce)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs research, design, and testing of Shop Equipment & Tooling.
• Monitors and assist with development of Maintenance repair policies and procedures.
• Works with suppliers to identify new maintenance practices, repair procedures and maintenance intervals.
• Assists in projects to develop repair procedures promoting safety, productivity and proficiency involving tools and equipment.
• Assists with training of tool functionality, general maintenance, and repair with other teams.
