Job summary

VEKA Inc. is seeking a tooling inventory associate to maintain an accurate inventory of extrusion tooling and supply production with needed tooling in a timely manner.

The role involves issuing and receiving tooling, routing it to the correct work stations, storing it efficiently, staging tools for line changes, and handling work orders while keeping the area organized and clean. This is a 12-hour shift (7p-7a) on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• Forklift (Reach truck) experience or certification is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn tooling systems.
• Safety and quality orientation is essential for tooling handling.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge over time.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive tooling to and from production.
• Route tooling to proper work stations.
• Store tooling efficiently and accurately.
• Stage tools for upcoming production line changes.
• Handle all production work orders.
• Keep area organized and clean.
• All other duties as assigned.
