Paumac Tube Fabrication seeks a production tooling engineer to design, fabricate, and deploy tooling, gages, and fixtures for our manufacturing operations. You will track performance, execute repairs or upgrades, and maintain tooling with an emphasis on uptime and quality.

You’ll read specifications, set up machine tools, and work across departments to ensure standards are met while driving continuous improvement. On‑site role with opportunities to advance capabilities on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Designing and fabricating production tooling, gages, and fixtures.
• Ability to read specifications and set up machine tools.
• Repair, maintenance, and rebuilds of tooling and fixtures.
• Documentation and cross‑department communication.
• Continuous improvement and hands‑on shop involvement.

Responsabilités

• Design, fabricate, and deploy production tooling, gages, and machine fixtures.
• Track tool performance and plan repairs or upgrades.
• Service tooling: strip-down, cleaning, lubrication, rebuilds.
• Read specifications and set up operating machine tools.
• Maintain and improve tooling and fixtures; document work.
• Coordinate purchasing and quotations with shop floor work.
