Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies seeks an experienced machinist to build, repair, and refine tooling, fixtures, and dies for production. You will set up and operate manual machines and other shop equipment to achieve precise results, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and extensive machining experience, with tool and die certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Approximately 10 years of general machining experience preferred; Tool & Die or other machinist certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; create simple prints from sketches or verbal concepts.
• Move around the shop floor and work safely with PPE; adapt to various tooling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and refine tooling, fixtures, and dies for production.
• Set up and operate manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders) and other shop equipment to produce precise results.
• Respond to tooling and fixture requests from Production, Engineering, Sales, Maintenance, and Machining teams.
• Translate rough ideas and hand sketches into finished, functional tooling; apply core machining practices.
