Qualified candidates have a strong mechanical background, read blueprints well, and may have TIG welding experience. High school diploma required; further technical degrees or journeyman certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience with a high school diploma; 4–6 years with an associate; 1–2 years with a bachelor; journeyman certification may be required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints; basic TIG or tool room welding is a plus; solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including QMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
• Studies specifications from CAD models, blueprints, sketches or tool descriptions and plans sequence of operation to construct.
• Operates tool room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC mill, EDMs, surface grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, hand tools).
• Troubleshoots and repairs various stages of tooling.
• Plans, constructs, and repairs tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures to close tolerances.
• Demonstrates high-level expertise with equipment and stays current with new technologies.
• May guide lower level Toolmakers; maintains proper documentation of work.
• Interacts with R&D, PD&E, EHSS, Production, and Quality Associates daily.
• Performs other duties as required.
