Job summary

Morton Industries, LLC seeks a Tool Designer to plan and integrate tooling, fixtures, dies, and equipment used across our manufacturing processes. You will work with Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to develop effective solutions, improve process capability, reduce costs, and support continuous production improvements.

You will read and interpret drawings, develop documentation, and apply ISO 9001 knowledge to assigned responsibilities, while coordinating with teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Design, or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with a manufacturing ERP software (Syteline) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze manufacturing methods to produce products per customer requirements.
• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, and support equipment to meet requirements.
• Develop detailed drawings, prints, specs for fabrication of tooling and equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to improve quality and process capability.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on new equipment installations and troubleshooting.
