Job summary

McCarl's Technical Services LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Tooling Technician to manage tooling for the shop and field projects. You will gather, deliver, and return tooling orders, and maintain organization in the shop and on job sites.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1–2 years in a warehouse, and a CDL driving license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months). Forklift experience and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree / GED required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum CDL driving experience OR required to get CDL within first 6 months of hire.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of tooling, consumables and equipment associated with mechanical contracting – Experience with maintenance and / or calibration of tooling is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Good communication skills with willingness to have priorities changed at any time.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP software systems is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tool activities for the entire company in support of projects.
• Gather and pick tooling request orders as prioritized by Warehouse Manager.
• Put away tooling returned from job sites in a timely manner; clean and inspect returned tools for damage and / or repair – remove tools from service as needed.
• Responsible for Truck loading and unloading.
• Help facilitate maintenance programs for equipment and tooling.
• Delivery of tools & equipment to job sites as directed.
• Pick up / return tooling & equipment from job sites to shop.
• Organize and clean up the shop and facilities on an ongoing basis.
