Top Dog Recruiting seeks a Tooling Engineer for Palmdale, CA, onsite, to support tooling design and fabrication efforts. This 12-month contract role requires strong Catia 3D modeling and detailing skills and familiarity with ANSI/ISO standards.

The position involves coordinating design/fabrication requirements, developing test plans, and driving process improvements. Onsite work and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledgeable in designing of castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T knowledge (it’s understanding and usage) in order to properly apply the rules to drawings
• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details
• Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tooling department. This position will serve on-site at Palmdale
