Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a Tooling Engineer for our Palmdale, CA facility on a 12-month contract. The role is onsite with a pay rate of $45-55 per hour (W2) and US citizenship is required.

You'll coordinate tool and fixture design, develop test plans, and drive process improvements while supporting product development to ensure manufacturability and accurate drawings using CATIA and GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Catia design experience.
• Familiar with ANSI/ISO and drawing requirements.
• Knowledge of castings, stampings and turned components.
• GD&T knowledge for applying rules to drawings.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tooling department. This position will serve on-site at Palmdale

Responsibilities

• Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external
• Coordinate/develop & execute test plans
• Develop & evaluate process improvements
• Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
• Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
• Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledgeable in designing of castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T knowledge (it’s understanding and usage) in order to properly apply the rules to drawings
• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details
• Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
