KingRecruitingServices seeks a Tooling Engineer to support our Palmdale, CA tooling department on a 12-month contract. The role is onsite and requires US citizenship.

The candidate will coordinate tool design and fabrication with customers, develop test plans, and drive process improvements while ensuring manufacturability of new products. Strong Catia and GD&T skills are essential for success.

Competenze

• 3+ years of Catia design experience with 3D modeling
• Familiarity with ANSI/ISO drawing standards
• Experience in designing castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T concepts applied to drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to technical details

12 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $45-55/hr W2

Onsite

US Citizenship Required

Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tooling department. This position will serve on-site at Palmdale

Responsibilities

• Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external
• Coordinate/develop & execute test plans
• Develop & evaluate process improvements
• Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
• Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
• Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledgeable in designing of castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T knowledge (it’s understanding and usage) in order to properly apply the rules to drawings
• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details
• Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
