Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks a Tooling Engineer for a 12‑month on-site contract in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on tool and fixture design coordination, test plan development, and process improvements to support manufacturing.

You will manage projects from design through fabrication and validation, ensure manufacturability of new products, and apply CATIA 3D modeling with GD&T on detailed drawings aligned with ANSI/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with ANSI, ISO and industry drawing standards.
• Knowledgeable in designing castings, stampings and turned components.
• GD&T knowledge and application on drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; manage technical details.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
• Coordinate/develop & execute test plans.
• Develop & evaluate process improvements.
• Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
• Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
• Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
