Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Nashua, NH is seeking an Application Tooling Engineer to join our high-speed products group. You will develop tooling for new and existing products and help validate tooling for prototype through high-volume production.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and proficiency with Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus strong communication with both technical and non-technical teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient with Creo or SolidWorks; experience with tooling and product development.
• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document application tooling for new/existing products; estimate, quote, design-build and validate tooling.
• Define processes, assemblies, spare parts lists and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with product development on DFMs, FMEs and risk assessments.
• Evaluate safety considerations and cost-reduction opportunities.
