Prestige Staffing Services seeks an experienced Tooling Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role focuses on providing technical support for product development, tooling design, and manufacturing changes to optimize tooling performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering within manufacturing and at least 3 years using modeling software such as SolidWorks. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of modeling software experience (Solidworks or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for product development and design.
• Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, PPAP, and launch of new tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Estimate, schedule, and execute all engineering changes for tooling, cost savings, etc.
• Establish new and superior sourcing methods for new tooling.
• Work with production to implement Poka-Yoke methods.
• Conduct annual tool audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
