Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment including assembly operations and stamping.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing fixtures, tooling, and production equipment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, CAD, problem-solving and plant-floor skills; ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Job description

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Tooling Engineer to support tooling, fixtures, equipment, and manufacturing processes for current production and future programs. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving tooling performance, supporting launches, driving cost-effective solutions, and collaborating closely with manufacturing, quality, program management, suppliers, and tool-room teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including assembly operations and cold stamping; hot stamping experience is a plus.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing assembly fixtures, tooling, and production equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience; tool & die experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, CAD, problem-solving, and plant-floor skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
