Job summary

Consolidated Nuclear Security in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Tooling Engineer to develop detailed design packages, provide field support, and troubleshoot plant systems. You will create concepts with CREO CAD and conduct design analyses to meet ASME and safety standards, working within an integrated project team or as a technical lead.

Preferred qualifications include CREO CAD proficiency, project-team collaboration, strong communication, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent
• GPA requirements: 3.0/4.0 (Bachelor), 3.3 (Master), 3.5 (PhD)
• DOE O 426.2A experience requirements can be satisfied after employment
• Must be able to obtain DOE Q clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality detailed design packages and provide engineering procurement support
• Provide field technical support and troubleshoot plant systems
• Create conceptual deliverables (models & drawings)
• Perform plant walk-downs to generate design documents and support craft personnel
