Consolidated Nuclear Security seeks a Structural Design Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN to develop high-quality detailed design packages and provide field technical support for plant facilities. You will work within an integrated project team or as a technical lead on multi-discipline tasks, performing walkdowns and producing design documents to support construction and upgrades.

The role requires proficiency in concrete, steel, masonry, and other materials, with emphasis on structural drawings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program or equivalent
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design
• Experience with field support and technical troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design packages and cost estimates
• Provide engineering procurement and field technical support
• Perform seismic analyses and structural evaluations of plant facilities
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications
• Lead or participate in multi-discipline project teams
