Quest Global is seeking a tooling engineer to design and qualify fixtures and gages for turbine components. You will lead tooling projects with suppliers, develop work instructions, and ensure tooling meets performance through collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams.

Required: 4+ years in tooling engineering, expert NX/Teamcenter, GD&T, and experience with inspection planning and repair logistics. On-site role in Winston-Salem, NC with health and retirement benefits.

Formación

• 2–4-year degree in mechanical, manufacturing engineering or 4+ years relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, development, and qualification of fixtures and gages for turbine blades, vanes and other components.
• Lead the fixture and gage manufacture with suppliers to realize repairs and quotations.
• Develop and document work instructions, procedures, and manufacturing documentation for fixture and gage use.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to ensure tooling meets performance expectations.
• Lead tooling projects through conception, R&D, qualification, production implementation and support.
• Perform inspection planning and repair actions with Siemens tool room and external suppliers.
• Identify critical-to-quality inspection requirements for effective inspections (manual and CMM).
• Develop repair logistics to ensure fixtures and gages are repaired and accepted by stakeholders.
