Job summary

Quest Global in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a mechanical/manufacturing engineer to design fixtures, create NX CAD models, and develop QA documentation for turbine blades and related components.

You will collaborate with production to ensure fixturing meets performance expectations, lead fixture projects through conception to production, and optimize processes for cost savings. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 year degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to interpret product and manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Expert knowledge in Siemens NX CAD/Drafting and product data management systems (Teamcenter).
• Expert knowledge of GD&T and parametric modeling in NX; assembly modeling with inter-part linking.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and qualification of fixtures and gauges for turbine blades, vanes and other components.
• Create and maintain 2D/3D NX CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Create MQCP, PPQ documents, CTQ, and machining setup drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production to ensure fixturing meets performance expectations.
• Lead fixture projects through conception, R&D, qualification, and production support.
• Work with production to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize fixtures and gauges.
• Engage in fixture optimization projects to achieve cost savings.
