R C M INDUSTRIES INC seeks an Associate Tooling Engineer to repair and replace production tooling and maintain tooling data accuracy within the engineering team. You will manage outside tooling repairs, plan component replacements, and procure wear components for existing tooling designs.

The role requires ERP proficiency, CAD skills, and tracking of wear trends for budgeting. Key responsibilities include maintaining revision-controlled drawings, generating reports, and supporting APQP/QMS

Formación

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret tooling drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of tool steel types, wear mechanisms, and failure modes.

Responsabilidades

• Repairs and components management for tooling, including vendor quotes and PO issuance.
• Maintains tooling configuration records in the ERP system and generates shot count reports.
• Supports revision control of drawings and CAD models for tool updates.
• Provides cross-functional cost information for repair quotes to customers.
• Forecasts tooling maintenance needs using usage data.
